In 2001 I embarked upon a journey into the finance industry, inducted by Standard Life, after achieving a First-Class Honours Degree, as a Graduate Trainee Financial Consultant, I began a career, which became my passion.
After a number of years helping Financial Advisers develop their knowledge and skills as a Financial Consultant, in 2008 I was invited to join Zurich Intermediary Group to launch and deliver their Protection Proposition to the Financial Advisory market nationally. This became their primary proposition and at which time I was introduced to St. James’s Place to develop a relationship between the two businesses. I was instantly impressed by the professionalism of the business.
Professional competency has always been a principle of mine and throughout my career I have always sought to develop myself through continuous professional development and learning, having achieved the highest recognised level of technical competency as a Chartered Financial Planner in 2013.
In 2014 I joined St. James’s Place as a Senior Partnership Development Manager providing support to a number of their financial advisory practices. Having been the most rewarding years of my career, I was honoured to be invited to establish my own partner practice of St. James’s Place in 2018.
Helping business and private clients and their families throughout the generations to secure financial peace of mind has outweighed all previous career highlights. It is with complete satisfaction I spend my time developing long-term, trusted relationships with my clients, providing them with financial peace of mind.
My primary relationships are in the South West, West Midlands and London and my office is conveniently based centrally in Worcester.
I regularly embark on personal challenges to support the St James’s Place Charitable Foundation such as an annual 36 mile hike in the UK and an overseas mountain challenge, The Julian Alps, Slovenia, and Mount Olympus in Greece.
I passionately believe in financial education, financial planning is fundamental to our long-term financial stability, yet it can be so poorly understood. It gives me a great pleasure in being able to help school pupils obtain a basic understanding of financial planning through educational seminars. If you would like more information on how I could help your children’s school, please email me via the link.
I have over 30 years’ experience in financial planning and wealth management, with a particular passion for pensions, helping clients prepare for and fully enjoy their retirement.
I was an independent financial adviser for 12 years before joining St. James’s Place Wealth Management in 2012. Having built a successful Partner Practice over the last seven years I joined, KLC Wealth Management in February 2019. Working collaboratively together, helping a number of clients, over the last seven years have proved that Kirsty and I share the same objective which is to deliver clients, quality financial advice and an excellent service.
I really take the time to understand the personal circumstances of my clients, allowing me to provide specific financial planning advice, tailored to the needs of the individual and this personal service has resulted in much of my business coming from recommendations from both my recent and long-standing clients.
